Leigh is a singer and songwriter from Foley, MO. She auditioned for “The Voice” season 24 on NBC. She sings different music genres including the country music genre, rock, and jazz. Leigh grew up listening to the likes of Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Hank Williams Sr, Ernest Tubb, and Jimmy Rodgers.
Leigh has performed with popular artists including Vince Gill, Pam Tills Mickey Gilely, and Lorrie Morgan, among others. In 2018, she won a gold medal in the 10-16 age group country music in the World Championship of Performing Arts. Leigh performed at the National Association of Music Merchants show in Anaheim, California in 2019, an event that had 160,000 in attendetance.
“The Voice” season 24 coaches/judges are Niall Horan, Gwen Stefani, and John Legend. Joining in as a new coach is country singer and actress Reba McEntire.
Leigh impressed the judges with her rendition of “I Want to Be a Cowboy’s Sweetheart” by Patsy Montana during her blind audition on Season 24 of “The Voice”. She got all the four chairs turned. Leigh chose Reba to be her coach, hence she is on Team Reba.
“The Voice” 24 premiered on September 25, 2023, at 8 pm on NBC and it will continue to air same time on Mondays and Tuesdays. Episodes are available for streaming next day on Peacock.
