Cancer
Farr is a breast cancer survivor. It was in 2012, when a lump was discovered in her breast. After such discovery, she underwent a lumpectomy with the diagnosis of DCIS. Two years later, a lump on her other breast was discovered. This time the diagnosis was invasive breast cancer. She immediately underwent another lumpectomy followed by radio therapy. Farr had moved in the United States, after receiving the second lumpectomy, therefore, she undertook radio therapy at the Duke Cancer Institute in Durham, North Carolina. Although Farr had started the radiation therapy late, it turned out well for her.
In 2017, another lump was found, and diagnosed as pre pre pre cancer. Her desire to have a mastectomy and just be “done with it” was impossible to deliver. The doctor told her that “the skin, the tissue was too ruined, it won’t heal properly, it’s too big a risk.”

Farr studied interior design at Ryerson University in Toronto before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film and television.
